I often find students do not know how to search the journals and “grab” the first one that seems to apply (often from a superficial Google search). Selecting the research which best fits YOUR population and purpose will make writing the literature review much easier. And since this is a group work course, finding articles the are focused on group relative to your population would be especially appreciated. If such findings are limited, you can discuss the relevance of the articles you do find for group, and you can also point to a need for further research. But remember, the literature part of your proposal should only be a page and a half. As you begin to work on the literature review section of your proposal, consider the following:
